WHAT IS IT?
Leadership can be hard to define and it means different things to different people. In the transformational leadership model, leaders set direction and help themselves and others to do the right thing to move forward. To do this they create an inspiring vision, and then motivate and inspire others to reach that vision.
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
Leadership will make or break a company. Research shows time and time again that employees quit managers, not companies.
Leadership provides clear message on company goals and vision, ensuring everyone understands what needs to happen, why it needs to happen, without this employees get confused and productivity decreases as people are unclear how they can add value.
Leaders must be good role models, and they set the tone and attitude for everyone else. They must show commitment and direction to achieving a goal, giving others reasons to
believe during challenging times
Great leaders can unleash other people’s passions. The ultimate sign of a leader is if they can inspire their workers to love their job so much that it becomes a joy to come to work! The goal is to motivate action to achieve corporate goals and to enable people to feel proud and a valued contributor in what has being achieved.
